ELVASTON GARDEN CLUB
Following the Elvaston Parish Plan questionnaire in 2010, a number of requests were made for more group activities, including garden related topics. This led to the setting up of the Elvaston Garden Club in 2011 and the original format has continued to the present day.
A monthly meeting is held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from September to May in Elvaston Village Hall at 7.30pm with guest speakers talking on a wide range of garden subjects. Coach excursions are organised each year to famous gardens and nurseries and members have the advantage of discounted garden products from a local garden centre.
Whether you are an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, why not come along and join our friendly group of like- members.
Individual membership is currently at £10 per year
Entrance charge £3
Family Members (2 or more at same address) £15 per year.
Visitors are welcome at £6 per meeting.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the entrance fee. We also hold a monthly fund-raising raffle.
